Encontro Internacional de Arte e Comunidade
13-21 September, Porto (Portugal)
www.mexe.org.pt
Duck March is a participatory project started in Italy with the declared intention of spreading in space and continuity in time: involving pregnant women in different parts of the world to form with them a parade that is absolutely peaceful and non-partisan, with kind of choreographic traits. At each geographical stage process and outcome are documented and narrated through various tool and techniques of storytelling. In any context photographic portraits, interviews, songs, video and texts are collected. For further information,
Everywhere Duck March creates a bond with the territory, at each geographical stage people who take part of it create a unique event.

About me
I’m Caterina Moroni, I’m a performing artist and a professional in the communication and cultural sector. After graduating in Communication and Business Management I attended the European Professional School for actors directed by Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio in 2007 and 2008. Even before and also throughout my studies I have been collaborating, learning and working with both established and emerging artist groups and directors of the contemporary scene. I have been cooperating with many cultural organizations, in particular with Associazione Demetra and Casa laboratorio di Cenci, in Italy. In 2008, I started my personal creative research project and my performances have been presented in several international festivals.
I am member of the international team selected for the project Arts’R’Public that is a Euro-Mediterranean laboratory whose aim is the creation and transmission of the arts in public spaces.
Partner & Artist
In addition to the generous women allowing the production of every performance, each stage of the project offers the opportunity to meet partners, supporters and local artists, so to really create a vibrant and creative ambient.

Each stage of the project offers the opportunity to meet women, partners, supporters and local artists, so to really create a vibrant and creative ambient.
Do you want to participate to the next march or to be the first to know about the upcoming events?
Do you know anyone who may be interested in organizing the performance? You?
Obviously we are looking for pregnant women (really!) but we would like to meet also local artists like video makers, photographers, choreographers, painters, body painters and light-artists for each of the next stages.
Let’s keep in touch, please write me.
